Late 1978 - early 1979 there was an international postal strike - the result was that no overseas letters were received for weeks. When the strike finished the post man arrived one day with four mail sacks full of bundles of letters requesting Pardon and Assurance booklets and other letters from churches, missions and evangelists requesting quantities of Gospel Literature. Drita is an old woman who lives alone in the village of Rubjeke. She comes from a Muslim background. Our volunteers met her and gave her the pamphlet “The Golden Rule”. She was so happy that she met Christian people. Drita was searching for the real God and she was so thirsty to know more about Jesus. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. Drita said: “I have Jesus in my heart.” Praise God for preparing the heart of Drita and for her salvation.

Sad that he had to go, I kept teaching knowing that it is the Holy Spirit’s work to convict the hearts of the children. After some time, the boy came back and listened attentively to the teaching. Most importantly, he prayed to receive Jesus when the invitation was given! Hallelujah, what joy that was for me!
