Salvation through Gospel Literature in Albania

Greetings from Albania! We want to share with you an update regarding the distribution of the literature by our ministry. Thousands of people and families were reached with the Gospel during the last months. In cooperation with many Churches we have distributed evangelistic literature home to home, in the roads, parks and in the promenade of the cities and villages. Also, we have organised events and activities during the National Evangelistic Day, Children’s Day, events with youth and students and literature distribution camps.

The Word of God has blessed and transformed many lives. New believers are connected with the local churches. 15 new believers got baptised. Many people send us prayer requests and our praying teams pray for their needs.

Praise God for His goodness and grace in the ministry.

Drita is an old woman who lives alone in the village of Rubjeke. She comes from a Muslim background. Our volunteers met her and gave her the pamphlet “The Golden Rule”. She was so happy that she met Christian people. Drita was searching for the real God and she was so thirsty to know more about Jesus. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. Drita said: “I have Jesus in my heart.” Praise God for preparing the heart of Drita and for her salvation.

Selviko is an elderly woman from the village of Laktesh. She lives with her son, her daughter in law and their two twins. They are very poor. Selviko comes from a Muslim family. Our volunteers visited their family, gave them literature and a package of clothes and shared the gospel with them. Selviko was so happy to hear the Good News, she prayed and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Saviour. We gave her a Bible. Also, her granddaughters wanted to learn more about Jesus. We gave them a Children’s Bible. It is a miracle that a woman her age invited Jesus into her life. We are keeping in contact with her. Praise God for working in her heart.

Bashkim is a man from Korca. During the summer he was working in Vlore. Our Volunteers met him on the promenade of the city. He said that while he was sitting there, he was so sad, felt alone and was praying to God to give him hope. He couldn’t believe that God answered his prayer so fast. Bashkim was so happy and grateful to meet our volunteers. They shared the Good News with him, encouraged him and prayed for his needs. He is thirsty to read the Bible and to go to church. Praise God for preparing the heart of Bashkim and for his salvation.

The amount of literature that we will need is: 40,000 brochures “Two Letters”, 45,000 brochures “The Mystery of Man”, 35,000 Searching the Man, 42,000 “The Golden Rule”.
