The Move to Clara Street
During our time in the Redcar Street factory the work continued to grow - the church hall was eventually all used in the production of Gospel Literature. In 1988 we added a small extension to the main building and then purchased a GTO52 - 2 colour Heidelberg press.
It quickly became clear that even with the extension that a larger building was required - we looked in the area for a suitable building at a good price but we could not find anything. We then found a 12,000 Sq Ft site in Clara Street for sale - just at that time a couple Mr & Mrs George Hamilton from Enniskillen who had supported the ministry for many years went to be with the Lord - they had left their house to Revival Movement Association and with the money raised from the sale we were able to purchase the site.
In 1991 -1992 a contractor Mr Greer Morrison was employed to build a new factory. One of the problems at the time was that we were building on our boundary line so no security fence could be erected. Before work commenced Ernie put up a big sign “Gospel Literature Factory being built” with a Gospel text. Throughout the time of building we did not know of anything being stolen from the site except for one sheet of tin. This was a miracle itself. At the time it felt like moving into a football field - there was so much extra space but additional machines were purchased to allow an even greater increase in the production of Gospel Literature.
