Dinners to Celebrate 75th Anniversary

During the month of September, Revival Movement Association held 2 dinners in celebration of 75 years of the ministry. It was a tremendous blessing for supporters, volunteers, staff and ministry partners to gather together to give thanks for all that God has done, and continues to do through the printed page.

The first of the dinners took place at the Stormont Hotel, Belfast on Friday 13th September. Around 230 people gathered for an evening of food, fellowship and thanksgiving. There were a number of special guests present, including Bogdan Bassara, the Internation literature director for CEF, and a team from our Interlink depot in Brazil. Reports about the impact of the literature were shared by these ministry friends, through both conversations and presentations. Joseph and Sandra Kennoway ministered in song, and Samuel Adams gave a presentation overviewing the 75 years of Revival Movement Association’s ministry. The evening concluded with a message of both challenge and encouragement from the Rev Roger Higginson.

A week later, the second of the two dinners was held at Corrick House, Clogher. On this occasion, around 170 people were in attendance, and once again warm fellowship was enjoyed by those who had gathered to celebrate this special anniversary. Keith and Karen Lyndsey led us in praise to the Lord, and Gerhard of Bibel Mission shared with us about the impact of Gospel literature in Eastern Europe and Central Asia through the ongoing 1:10 project. Claire Bain of CEF Romania was also in attendance, as well as a team from Bible Educational Services (BES) and Dr Sid Garland, founder and director of ACTS. Once again, the Rev Roger Higginson shared from God’s word, focusing on Nehemiah’s ‘Great Work’ from Nehemiah 6, the ‘Great Work’ of Revival Movement Association, and how each of us are called to share in the ‘Great Work’ of fulfilling the Great commission.

It was wonderful to be able to celebrate this special anniversary with so many friends and partners. We are grateful for all those who support the ministry, and for our many ministry partners who take the literature supplied to the ends of the earth. The impact of Gospel literature is the Lord’s doing, and it truly is marvellous in our eyes.
